The Book Pond wants to make sure you stay safe when selling your books, so we have put together some guidelines below. Remember, even though the majority of people are honest and genuine theres always a chance of encountering those who are not. The Book Pond takes all precautions nessecary to make sure that your experience is as safe as possible, but just to be doubly safe - follow the guidelines!
Remember, we're not trying to scare you, but you can never be too careful! It's likely your meeting will be with another student from your university and possibly even the same course/department... You might already know them!
Arrange to meet in a public space where people are about. Libraries and other well known buildings are useful. Stay on campus where possible.
Take a friend or someone you know with you, and if you cannot then tell someone else where you are going and when.
Get some details about what the other person looks like so you have an idea who you are looking for.
